Ontario conducted the year’s first round of invitations under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) on January 9, 2024.

The latest OINP invitation round included two draws under the OINP Foreign Worker Stream for:

Candidates with job offers across several skilled trade occupations

Candidates with job offers in healthcare and tech occupations

The OINP Targeted Draw for 63 skilled trades occupations issued PR invites to 630 candidates with a minimum score of 33 and above. The second draw for 42 healthcare and 15 tech occupations invited 821 candidates having minimum scores of 40 points or more.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program is a suitable choice for aspiring immigrants willing to settle in the province. Ontario operates several streams under the Employer Job Offer category of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), including the Ontario Foreign Worker stream.

The provincial immigration stream aims to welcome foreign nationals who have a job offer from an Ontario employer and skilled work experience. The job offer must be valid and full-time. Candidates with a job offer and at least two years of cumulative skilled work experience qualify for selection.
