Recent BC PNP Draw Issues 245 Invites Under the Skills Immigration Stream
There was a drop in CRS scores in the latest BC PNP draw that issued 245 invitations to candidates in the Skills Immigration Stream
On Feb 7, 2023, British Columbia conducted the PNP draw for provincial immigration. The latest round of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) across General and Targeted categories.
The general category draw of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program issued ITAs to 207 candidates. It selected Skilled Workers and International Graduates having minimum CRS scores of 102. The minimum CRS threshold for Entry Level and Semi-skilled candidates was 82.
The Targeted Draw selected 38 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 60 for ITAs, as follows:
25 candidates in the Childcare category
13 candidates in the Healthcare category

The Immigration Programs Branch of the Government of British Columbia administers the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program for the selection and nomination of students, foreign workers, and entrepreneurs. Nominated candidates can apply to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to become Canadian permanent residents.
The BC PNP conducts monthly draws to select eligible candidates for issuing Invitations to Apply for permanent residence. The province selects candidates to support its economy. The program selects candidates from the registration pool for applying to the British Columbia Nominee Program. The province issues ITAs by evaluating the CRS scores of these candidates.
