Ontario Holds New Draw Inviting 1,481 Candidates for Provincial Nomination under Three OINP Streams

The recent invitation round of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program selected 1,481 Expression of Interest (EOI) profiles to receive provincial nominations.

Ontario conducted EOI draws on January 24, 2024, across three OINP streams to select 1,481 candidates to receive provincial nomination. These OINP draws require candidates to have a minimum Expression of Interest (EOI) profile score of 45 or more points to be eligible for selection.

These are the main highlights of the January 24 Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) draw:

OINP Masters Graduate Stream- 1,344 invitations (EOI score cut-off- 50 points)

OINP PHD Graduate Stream- 125 invitations (EOI score cut-off- 45 points)

OINP Employer Job Offer Foreign Worker stream- 12 invitations (EOI score cut-off N/A)

All candidates receiving invites should apply for their Permanent Residency approval by providing valid documents supporting the information in their Expression of Interest profiles.

Prospective international students trying to become Canadian permanent residents in Ontario through the Masters Graduate stream should avoid the option of operating payrolls or LMIAs. They should prefer enrolling in eligible universities of Ontario for the Ontario International Graduate Program. The strategy helps enhance their academic credentials and qualifies them for the OINP Masters Graduate Program.
