Ontario, BC, Manitoba, and Quebec Invite Over 3,500 Candidates on March 4-10 Provincial Immigration Draws
Provincial immigration continues to gain momentum as several provinces hold draws between March 4 and 10.
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program
Ontario led Canada’s provincial immigration between March 4 and 10 by inviting 1637 candidates on two consecutive draws on March 9 and 10.
The March 9 Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program draw processed 822 Notifications of Interest to invite candidates in healthcare occupations. The Comprehensive ranking scores ranged between 469 and 489. The second OINP draw on March 10 issued 815 invitations through Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream with CRS scores between 479 and 489.
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)
Manitoba conducted provincial immigration draws on March 9 across categories:
NOC 2021 major group 65 – 224 (minimum scores-612)
Skilled worker stream – 277 (minimum scores 675)
International education stream – 53
Skilled worker overseas – 43 (minimum scores 666)
45 candidates among these had active Express Entry profiles.
Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QSWP)
Quebec published the results of the March 2 QSWP draw this week. The province invited 1,017 candidates with minimum scores of 589 points to apply for permanent residence.
British Columbia PNP
British Columbia invited 276 candidates on March 7, a draw comprising 229 candidates from tech occupations. The BC PNP draw included Express Entry candidates in the skilled worker category (minimum scores of 100) and international graduates (minimum scores of 105). BC PNP draws issued invitations to semi-skilled and entry-level candidates having minimum scores of 85.
