Manitoba’s Second EOI Draw in January Issues 336 Invites Showing a Drop in CRS
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted one more Expression of Interest (EOI) Draw on January 26, 2023, inviting 336 candidates to apply for permanent residence.
The CRS for Skilled Workers in Manitoba witnessed a drop against the last EOI draw of January 12, 2023. The CRS remained the same for Workers Overseas.
Details of the number of Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) for EOI Draw #166:
Skilled Workers in Manitoba – 253 (CRS threshold 726)
Skilled Workers Overseas – 23 (CRS threshold 713)
International Education Stream – 60
There were 32 candidates with active Express Entry profiles and Jib Seeker validation codes among these 336 candidates receiving LAAs.
Manitoba issued 322 LAAs in the first EOI draw on January 12, 2023. The minimum CRS score for Skilled Workers Overseas was 713, whereas the CRS threshold for Skilled Workers in Manitoba was 734. There are more LAAs in the subsequent EOI draw of January 26 with a lower CRS threshold. Manitoba is showing a stronger will to boost its provincial immigration with back-to-back EOI draws, more LAAs, and lower CRS scores.

Interested candidates submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to enter the pool of candidates. The EOI draw selects profiles with the highest individual EOI Ranking Points.
