Manitoba and Saskatchewan Invited 1,062 candidates in Recent PNP Draws
Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws of Manitoba, and Saskatchewan invited 1,062 candidates during the third week of March 2023.
The third week of March witnessed several Canadian provinces conducting PNP draws. On March 23, 2023, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan held draws to issue invitations to 1,062 candidates to apply for permanent residence.
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)
On March 23, the province conducted the new Expression of Interest draw of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program, inviting 566 candidates. The occupation-specific and all-occupation draw of MPNP was the third such draw issuing Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to eligible candidates for permanent residence.
The occupation-specific draw selected 266 candidates in various occupations, as below:
Tech trades, transportation officers, and controllers – 72 LAAs
Mail and message distribution, transportation-related maintenance, and equipment operators- 74 LAAs
Laborers, helpers, drivers, and operators – 75 LAAs
Assemblers, inspectors, and operators in printing, manufacturing, and processing – 94 LAAs
Laborers in utilities, manufacturing, and processing – 95 LAAs
The all-occupations draw of MPNP issued 200 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to the eligible candidates with a minimum score of 672. Besides, the MPNP draw invited 100 candidates from International Education and Skilled Worker Overseas streams. The minimum CRS score threshold for these candidates was 708 points.
Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) draw on March 23 issued 496 invitations to candidates who submitted Expressions of Interest (EOIs). The draw focused on Express Entry and Occupations in Demand categories.
The Expression of Interest draw of SINP for the Express Entry category invited 184 candidates having Educational Credentials Assessments (ECA). The minimum CRS score for the candidates was 82 points.
The Occupations in Demand stream of SINP invited 312 candidates with minimum CRS scores of 82 points.
