Latest Express Entry Draw Invites 4750 Candidates Pushing CRS Scores Further Down
The recent all-program Express Entry draw invited 4750 candidates continuing the downward trend of CRS scores.
Canada held the tenth all-program Express Entry draw on Nov 9, 2022, since the resumption of Express Entry draws in July 2022. Draw #235 by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada invited 4750 candidates with a minimum CRS OF 494 to submit applications for permanent residency.
Candidates must submit applications for Permanent Residence within 60 days of receiving invitations.
The general Express Entry draw targeted candidates eligible for Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP). Federal Skilled Worker Program, and Canadian Experience Class. The recent Express Entry invited the same number of candidates as the last draw on Oct 26, 2022. The CRS scores dropped to 494 from 496.
Highlights of the recent Express Entry draws
The breakdown of the Express Entry draws held after resuming the process on July 6, 2022, highlights maximum invitations to the candidates eligible for the Canadian Experience Class. Invitations for CEC candidates are 13,774 out of 26,250 invitations across all three programs under the Express Entry system.
Candidates applying through the Canadian Experience Class program are living or working in Canada for at least a year, besides fulfilling other eligibility requirements like language efficiency.
The total number of candidates under the Federal Skilled Worker Program receiving invitations is 6,154, while no candidate received an invitation under the Federal Skilled Trades Program.
The number of Express Entry candidates receiving invitations through the Provincial Nominee Program is 6,322.
