Periodic Express Entry draws invite candidates for PR application who cross a particular Competitive Ranking System (CRS) points threshold. The minimum CRS scores keep changing according to the scores of candidates in the pool at any given time.
The threshold of Comprehensive Ranking Scores in an Express Entry Draw determines the chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply. The CRS score threshold of the March 29 Express Entry draw was 481, the lowest since December 2020.

The result of the two above records was a whopping 21,000 ITAs in three Express Entry draws spanning two weeks.
Express Entry – a popular PR pathway
Canada operates Express Entry to manage applications from three main economic immigration pathways. Express Entry selects top-ranking candidates applying under the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP). Federal Skilled Trades Program and Canadian Experience Class issuing Invitations to Apply (ITAs). These candidates can apply to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada for permanent residence.
