PNPs – the mainstay of Canada’s immigration system

Provincial Nominee Programs are the main drivers of Canadian immigration. Canada expects to welcome over 330,000 new permanent residents through several provincial immigration programs between 2023 and 2025. PNPs enable different provinces and territories in Canada to nominate candidates for permanent residence to boost the provincial economy, job market, and demographics.  British Columbia’s Provincial Nominee Program is among Canada’s most competitive programs requiring candidates to highlight their qualifications, such as education and skills. Meeting all eligibility criteria and creating a strong profile is crucial to receive an Invitation to Apply.
