British Columbia and Ontario Invite Candidates for Permanent Residence in the latest Draws

On February 6, 2024, British Columbia and Ontario held PNP draws to invite 2,304 candidates to apply for permanent residence.

BC PNP Draw 

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) draw on February 6, 2024, was the year’s fifth invitation round. The new BC PNP draw issued 218 invites as per the following details:

BC PNP General stream – 102 ITAs (Cut-off score- 97 points)    

BC PNP Construction occupations category – 26 ITAs (Cut-off score – 75 points)

BC PNP Healthcare occupations category – 39 ITAs (Cut-off score – 60 points)

BC PNP Childcare occupations category – 46 ITAs (Cut-off score – 60 points)

BC PNP Veterinary occupations category – 5 ITAs (Cut-off score – 60 points)

Ontario Express Entry Draw

Ontario invited 2,086 candidates with active Express Entry profiles across 42 healthcare occupations in the latest draw on February 6, 2024. It was the first Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program draw under the Human Capital Priorities stream of the year. Ontario held 14 invitation rounds in 2023, issuing 17,502 invitations to apply for permanent residency.

The OINP Express Entry draw considered eligible candidates in the Express Entry pool. The latest OINP draw required a minimum CRS score between 379 and 430 to qualify for the ITA. Candidates receiving ITAs will get an additional 600 CRS points, ensuring their selection in the subsequent Express Entry draws.
