British Columbia and Ontario Hold their first PNP Draws of April 2023
British Columbia and Ontario held their first PNP draws of the month on April 4, 2023, inviting 175 and 889 candidates, respectively.
British Columbia PNP
British Columbia held the first BC PNP draw on April 4, issuing Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to 175 candidates from Skilled Workers and International Graduates streams. The BC PNP draw also invited candidates under the Entry Level and Semi-skilled Workers categories.
The BC PNP General Draw issued 152 invitations to apply for permanent residence. The individual CRS thresholds were:
Skilled Workers- 103 points
Skilled Workers (EEBC option)- 103 points
International Graduates- 106 points
International Graduates (EEBC option)- 106 points
Entry Level and Semi-skilled- 85 points
Targeted BC PNP draws for Childcare: Early Childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202) invited 17 candidates with minimum CRS scores of 60 points.
Targeted BC PNP draws for the Healthcare category invited six candidates with minimum CRS scores of 60 points.
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)
The first draw of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program issued invitations to 889 candidates on April 4, 2023. The OINP draws targeted candidates under OINP’s Job Offer: Foreign Workers, Masters Graduate, and Ph.D. Graduate streams.
The details are:
752 ITAs in Masters Graduate stream – CRS threshold 52 points
131 ITAs in Ph.D. Graduate stream- CRS threshold 48 points
6 ITAs in Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream- CRS threshold N/A
Candidates receiving Invitations to Apply should submit their applications within 14 calendar days to qualify for the relevant stream.
