Canada is on a record-breaking spree of Express Entry Draws as it held the fifth Express Entry draw in seven days, creating a record in Canadian immigration history. The lowest CRS cut-off for the July 11 Express Entry draw was 505.
The following is a break-up of the lowest CRS cut-offs for Express Entry draws in July 2023:
July 4 (All-program draw)- 511
July 5 (STEM-specific draw)- 486
July 6 (Healthcare-specific draw)- 463
July 7 (Language-specific draw)- 439
July 11 (All-program draw)- 505
Historic back-to-back draws
July 4 to July 11 is a record-breaking seven-day period. Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held five consecutive draws to invite 5,800 candidates to apply for permanent residence in Canada. The latest Express Entry draw takes the total number of invitations to 65,328 in 2023.
Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) aims to hold Express Entry draws targeting specific occupations in Category-based Express Entry draws in 2023. The IRCC-approved categories for the selection of Express Entry profiles are:
STEM
Healthcare
Trades
Transport
Agriculture and Agri-food
French language skills
IRCC may hold more draws this week, targeting 82 IRCC-specified occupations.
