BREAKING: All-program Express Entry Draw Invites 4,800 Candidates

Canada invited 4,800 candidates in the latest all-program Express Entry draw with a minimum CRS score of 488 points.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada held this year’s thirteenth Express Entry draw on May 24, 2023. The all-program draw issued 4,800 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates from all programs. The Express Entry draw considered candidates in Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and Federal Skills Trades Program (FSTP).

The CRS cut-off for the draw climbed to 488 from the last all-program Express Entry draw’s cut-off of 483.

These are the highlights of the recent all-program Express Entry draws of 2023 (figures in the brackets are respective CRS cut-offs):

March 15 – 7,000 ITAs (490)

March 23 – 7,000 ITAs (484)

March 29 – 7,000 ITAs (481)

April 11 – 3,500 ITAs (486)

April 26 – 3,500 ITAs (483)

May 24 – 4,800 ITAs (488)

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is yet to establish a clear pattern of Express Entry draws for frequency, type of the draw, and number of ITAs. The IRCC created a record by inviting over 21,000 candidates in the single month of March. IRCC will shift to category-based Express Entry draws in the second half of 2023 to select candidates under the five main occupation categories: agriculture, tech, healthcare, skilled trades, and transportation.
