Alberta Conducts Two PNP Draws in April, Inviting 121 Candidates

Alberta declared the results of the two Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) on April 21.

The two Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) draws in April 2023 issued invites to 121 candidates with active Express Entry profiles.

AAIP – April, 5, draw

The first AAIP draw targeted candidates from the Alberta Job Offer stream of Designated Healthcare Pathway. Alberta issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to 53 candidates with CRS scores ranging between 300 and 600 points. The lowest CRS score to become eligible for the ITA was 351 points.

AAIP – April 18, draw

In the second AAIP draw on April 18, Alberta invited 68 candidates within the CRS score range of 300-700 points. The CRS cut-off was 307 for the draw that targeted candidates from Agricultural Occupation with Alberta Job Offer stream.  

Alberta provincial nomination limit 

Alberta holds regular PNP draws to address the province’s labor market needs by selecting candidates who meet specific eligibility criteria. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) determines the provincial immigration quota for various provinces. The 2023 provincial nomination quota of Alberta is 9,750. Alberta issued 982 nominations until now in 2023.
