The following Initial Consultation Agreement is between Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) Vinay Chaudhary, membership no: R706870, and the client named in the booking for the purpose of initial immigration consultation.
RCIC is not obligated to act for the client in any application or proceeding under this agreement. Services will be limited to a single consultation under this agreement. The Client must sign a separate retainer agreement with RCIC if he or she requires further advice or representation following this initial consultation.
Mode of Consultation
Online consultations are available for initial consultations. The duration of the consultation will be determined by the appointment scheduled by the client.
Payment/Fees
Payment is required in advance by the Client according to the payment link. In the event that the client decides to retain us for representation within ONE month of the initial consultation, the initial consultation fee will be used as a payment/credit toward the retainer agreement.
Refund Policy
Fees earned under this agreement are non-refundable. In either case, there will be no refund if a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time or if a client fails to show up without canceling.
Advice
As applicable, the advice provided by the RCIC to Client is based on Canadian immigration law and policy at the time of consultation. Any change in government legislation or policy that may affect the processing of a subsequent application by the Client is not the responsibility of the RCIC.
Confidentiality
All documentation and information reviewed by the RCIC, mandated by IRCC or any other governing body when preparing the application, will not be shared with any third party without prior consent, barring legal requirement. Article 8 of the Code of Professional Ethics binds RCIC to the confidentiality requirements. The Client consents to electronic communication and electronic storage of confidential information; further, the RCIC shall endeavour to keep this communication and storage secure.
Applicable Law
The terms of this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, as well as the applicable federal laws of Canada.
