British Columbia sent 215 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Permanent Residency to 215 candidates on January 23.
The latest British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) draw focused on general and targeted categories. The BC PNP draw for general categories issued 79 ITAs to candidates under BC PNP Skills Immigration and Express Entry streams, targeting 36 Tech occupations. There was no change in cut-off scores compared to the January 10 BC PNP draw.
The recent BC PNP draw invited 66 candidates under the Early Childhood Educators category. British Columbia category-based invitation rounds targeted construction and healthcare categories, selecting 34 profiles with experience in 25 occupations under the construction category and 36 candidates across 39 healthcare occupations.
The cut-off scores for the BC PNP draw were:
BC PNP General draw- 120 points
BC PNP Childcare occupations draw- 60 points
Construction category-based BC PNP draw- 75 points
Healthcare category-based BC PNP draw- 60 points
British Columbia operates its provincial immigration program collaborating with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The province nominates eligible applicants aspiring to live in British Columbia to apply for Permanent Residency through BC PNP invitation rounds. Candidates receiving Invitations to Apply (ITAs) apply to the IRCC for approval of their Permanent Residency.
